Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA) is an award-winning festival originating from Australia that has brought some of the biggest names in music to tens of thousands of fans in Malaysia since 2012. It is to date, the largest music festival in Southeast Asia.

In 2012, FMFA made it’s debut for one day and it grew to two days in 2013. In 2014, it will expand to cover three days. This goes to prove the rapid growth of the brand amongst not just Malaysians but also among region and beyond. FMFA has made people take notice and is now a yearly stamp on their calendars.

In 2013 alone, over 15,000 fans from abroad attended the festival. Judging from the trend, FMFA 2014 is expecting to attract over 60,000 fans across 3-days of which, 20,000 of those will be tourists from key markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, and countries from as far off as Europe.

Among internationally renowned acts for FMFA 2014, the festival looks at two major award winning artists – the groundbreaking electronic artist Deadmau5 and world acclaimed trance music artist Armin Van Buuren. Both leading DJs have enormous listeners and a fan base spreading all over the world.
