Pickup from meeting point at 8:30 AM and drive for about 35 minutes to Bako Village. From the village, take a 25 minutes boat ride (depending on the tide) to the park. Upon arrival, register and proceed for jungle trekking. Go on one of the several trails in search of wildlife or nature observation. The park’s coastline is dotted with small bays, coves and beaches. Spot rare migratory birds and searching for the rare and elusive proboscis monkey, a primate only found in Borneo. Return to Kuching in mid- afternoon.
