Most, if not all of us, want to go on a holiday to take our minds off our busy, daily schedules. Hence, the ideal location to escape to would be somewhere serene and peaceful. However, at times we may find ourselves in places thronged by tourists, which isn’t so ideal for some peace and quiet time with family and loved ones.

Good news for those of you dreaming of sailing to a secret paradise. We are about to take you through some of Malaysia’s best-kept-secret spots for your next secluded vacation. Whether it's for your honeymoon, family excursion or simply a trip with your best buddies, these four secret islands should be on your list of where you should head to next.

Pulau Gemia, Terengganu

Terengganu is famous on the map for its stunning islands and pristine beaches. However, if you’re aching for a secluded vacation, then you should consider checking out Gemia Island. Expect a peaceful and quiet atmosphere as the surrounding green forest and sandy beaches await you for an unforgettable stay here at Gemis Island.

Did you know that island is surrounded by coral gardens and colourful marine life? This makes the island an excellent spot for snorkelling and scuba-diving. Due to the size of the island, you’ll find that there is only one resort operating here. Rest assured, the tiny island promises an intimate and unforgettable experience for you and your family.
