We are extremely lucky to have so many destinations that are worth visiting here in Malaysia. From the great outdoors to the various places of attraction, there’s something for everyone to discover. Let’s have a look at these wonderful spots that we’d reckon perfect for a quick weekend getaway.

Sungai Klah Hot Springs, Perak

This one’s for all nature lovers out there. Surrounded by lush greenery and calming streams of rivers, Sungai Klah Hot Springs definitely tops the list of places you’d want to escape to during the weekend. The hot spring is a great place to bring your family over for a splashing good time. The Komtar building is the tallest building in Penang. Here, you can find the largest indoor theme park on top of the repurposed skyscraper. We consider this as one of the hidden gems in Penang as it’s fairly undiscovered by tourists. Nevertheless, The Top Penang promises fun and excitement for everyone. You can find attractions such as  Rainbow Skywalk, Jurassic Research Centre, Tech Dome, among others. You can also take your dining experience to greater heights - 68 floors to be exact - as you enjoy a sweeping panoramic view of the vibrant city at the TOP View Restaurant & Lounge. 

Farm In The City, Seri Kembangan, Selangor

Wondering where you can take your kids to this weekend? Look no further than Farm In The City as it promises an unforgettable experience for the little ones. The well-landscaped petting zoo is home to more than 100 species of exotic and rare species that are on display behind glass walls or in open compounds.  Farm In The City is perfect for when you want to get up close and personal with adorable animals. Did we mention that you and your kids can feed them too? It’s also interesting to learn that this petting zoo holds the record for ‘Most Number Animal Species in a Petting Zoo’ in Malaysia’s Book of Records, so be on the lookout for those cuddly creatures that await you there.

Janda Baik is the go-to destination for city dwellers who are in dire need of a weekend escapade. It only takes about 45 minutes from the Klang Valley to reach this amazing place.
