The Best Place to Hang Out with Exotic Animals

Love animals and want to get up close and personal with them? Well, make a visit to Farm in the City, a Malaysian village-themed petting zoo with more than 100 species of exotic animals.

Located in Seri Kembangan about 20 minutes’ drive from Kuala Lumpur, Farm in the City is a specially-designed outdoor park where visitors can touch and feed animals while learning more about them. Not only that, visitors are exposed to a typical Malaysian village environment, surrounded by fruit trees and farm animals in a safe yet fun setting.

Spread across an expansive 7 acres, the park is divided into several sections, which provide various experiences for the visitors. About 19 stations are designed to offer close interaction between animals and humans, where visitors can pet and learn more about animals such as bearded lizards, giant tortoises, Javan deers, cute alpacas, Himalayan striped squirrel, meerkats, the Feenex fox, and more.

Try your hand at “longkang” fishing, the way children in the village typically catch fish in the small streams and drains; go for a pony ride; feed some raccoons; or simply hang out with any of the other cute animals.

Farm in the City is definitely the destination of choice for families regardless the walk of life and age. It provides educational and entertaining insights for the young and old to get close to animals and plants which we only read about or see on TV.
