Hawksbill Turtle eggs take around 60 days to hatch and once they do, the centre releases the baby sea turtles back into the sea nearby. The ideal time to visit the Turtle Conservation and Information Centre is between June and August when some of the most exciting events take place. Visitors can get a close-up experience by participating in various turtle activities such as the hatching of turtle eggs, the releasing of baby turtles and even nesting of the eggs.
The centre also has a gallery that allows visitors to gain a more in-depth knowledge on these turtles by reading up on many fascinating facts about them and their lives at sea. Here, access is free and doors are open to anyone curious to learn more about these magnificent creatures.
